GULF OF MEXICO (July 6, 2007) - Personnel Specialist 1st Class Kevin Armold, attached on board Naval Air Station Pensacola, is reenlisted by Army Maj. Shean Phelps on the main deck of the newly sunken aircraft carrier USS Oriskany at the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico about 23 miles south of Pensacola. Received an email from Robert today. He’s doing well. His unit is at present not doing any “high profile” missions, as opposed to what they were doing. I hope that means they are taking some time off.
Continued prayers for Robert and his unit. Hopeful that they are getting some down time.
