No. 9/11 not enough. Easily swept under the rug. Easily forgotten.

Haven’t you heard? The War On Terror is a “bumper sticker war”.

Once we get nuked, however, (and I’m praying we don’t) then there will be no more liberalism, no more PC, no more lying traitor scum. They’ll all be hiding under the rugs while we are free to fight to save our country.

I don’t think so. People don’t like giving up their power. I suspect in an ER they would try to neutralize with martial laws and stuff.

Americans are asleep. They don't want to be bothered. They worry about Paris Hilton. They watch football. When "the big one" hits - and it will - they will wake up and things are going to get ugly.

We don't understand Islam and they don't understand us. We made the same mutual mistake with the Germans and the Japanese.The price for our mutual delusions will be repeated: Millions of dead on both sides, most of them innocent.

People woke up for a few months after September 11. The next time, when it is much much worse, the same people who are the loudest in wanting us out of Iraq will be the loudest in the demands for retribution. From farce to tragedy.
