Scientists on the US Pacific coast are increasingly observing emaciated gray whales in what they fear is a sign that global warming is wreaking havoc in the whales' Bering Sea summer feeding grounds.
The Bering sea just endured two of it's coldest years in over a hundred years.
I read an article not long ago about a scientist who last year went against all the experts and predicted an unusually mild hurricane season because of the extreme cold of the Bering Sea, and this year he is predicting the same thing for the very same reason.
So far, it has panned out.
CTTOI, when watching Deadliest Catch, the last two seasons are the only ones that feature problematic sea ice.
