I believe Avi Nelson is filling in again...meanwhile the WRKO/WTKK soap opera about Howie continues.
Howie Carr live ping
If Howie is indeed allowed to pursue that deal with 96.9 and it’s pretty obvious he will be once the legal stuff is settled, he could do a couple tie-ins with Fox25 morning news...put a camera in the WTKK studios and have Howie
and VB banter for a few minutes.
Oh, and don’t be too surprised if HC doesn’t move to
Florida and do the show there via ISDN line (a la
Severin/Long Island, and Rush/”the Southern command”)
I wonder if 96.9 would replay Howie’s broadcasts once he gets settled. Maybe at midnight or overnight?
B.S. Globe article from today;Read the last paragraph
They probably will, they do that with some of their shows now.
The Felon Finneran must be destroyed. How big a fool is Jason Wolfe now to do the bidding of Lady MacBeth? What will WRKO do for revenue when the Sox season ends? Scotto, JD, you will have the last laugh!
Anybody have any idea which way Wolfe and Kahn lean politically? Inquiring minds would like to know.
It seems “The most expensive carr in our lot” has taken on a whole new meaning now for RKO.
I hope I can receive it in New Hampshire. 680-AM has been pretty tough to get, especially in the car.
Allegedly he will be on tomorrow, said the Herald but who
knows. And yes, it would be nice if WTKK did a “radio
rewind” at midnight—even if just for an hour or two

And no signal fade at sunset.
ha! thought that, too.
as for FM, hope it reaches you in N.H.—it just may especially
on a good car stereo. but he needs his affiliates to keep
it up
Post 11 is the guy from NH.
Just our of curiosity, “local,” “distant,” “fringe” don’t say much — what’s the reception like in distant and fringe (assuming local is fine!)?
I would imagine that his affiliates are already locked in to other morning programing.I can't see how any of them would follow him when he moves.
I frequently drive between Boston and Springfield,MA on the Pike.WTTK comes in at least fairly well until I get to a point about 20 miles east of Springfield...which is consistent with what the map shows for fringe reception.
