OK. Maybe banning them is a little irrational in a free society. If some people have the time and money to do it why not?

On the other hand, most owners of those cars are arrested development types who actually have anger issue problems with others who choose --- say --- a Prius.

Puzzling, that.

In our neighborhood, dorks who abuse fast cars and terrorize the neighborhood don't last long; first the neighbors deal with cars-as-recreation directly; second the ding-dongs end up running into tress and houses until they run out of money and/or insurance. Posting HTML

Careful, your liberalism is showing through, big time. What a putz, to put it midly. You condem all fast car owners and stamp them with your brand of discrimination. You must be one of the poor who can't afford a fast car.

Envy is written throughout your whole comment. I cannot afford a fast sports car, but more power to those who can buy them. You might think about moving to Sweden or Russia if you don't already live there because your ideas are straight out of the nanny state.

Indeed. I can't really afford a fast car (well, I could, but I couldn't be financially responsible and buy one) but people who own them don't bother or concern me that much.
