I don’t think they should be treated as heroes. They committed a crime, lied and tried to cover it up.

Had they been honest about the shooting, I would say probation, or loss of job, at the max.

They were given a chance to plea down and refused.

You sound like the type who would argue that the three Duke lacrosse players should have been charged because at least two of them was at a party with a stripper.

Unless you are a Johnny Sutton groupie, then look at the fact and you will see that the bad guys here are Sutton and the drug dealer.

Head in the sand. You need to wake up. Living in California like I do, its become intolerable with as many as 13-16 illegals living in a two bedroom house. By chilling the border agents, it sends the wrong message. Putting these guys in prison makes no sense. You could have been put on admin leave. Sutton was given the okay because Bush wants open borders.

Perdogg’s comment is what should have happened in this case. It would have if the defendants had taken the plea bargain. After reading their testimony I am surprised they did not.
