Sutton had the ability to bring these guys up on lesser charges, but he chose to prosecute for the most serious possible crimes and put them in prison by withholding critical evidence from the jury. Sutton is in the district where Bush’s ranch is located - Crawford. The other two cases with BC agents going to prison are also in Sutton’s jurisdiction — the Mexican Govt. demanded prosecution, and Sutton/Gonzalez/Bush gave them what they wanted. Testimony at a Congressional Committee was given by DOJ staffer who admitted that exonerating facts were withheld in this case. A lying drugrunner is free because Bush’s boys are playing nice with Mexico and not our own people who are trying to do their job.

He offered a lesser charge, but both refused the deal.

These guys turned down a plea bargain for a lesser offense that would have resulted in no prison time. Don’t blame Sutton for the defendants stupidity.
