He didn’t chase the suspect, so he didn’t directly observe what happened. He however had to have heard the shots.

Thanks..... I did reread a little of the testimony and there is testimony from one of the investigating team members about one of the agents saying he heard shots but didn’t eleaborate on who fired them, etc. I haven’t looked up that agents testimony yet....

I wish I could get the transcript in a word program rather than pdf. For legal reasons the pdf makes it easy to refer to page and line number but for reading I’d love a copy in a more readable/printable format.

Anyway thanks for your input. I wonder about an organization that one feels it’s okay to cover up actions that are clearly reportable. We may need a total revamping of the agency, its leaders, etc. I’m not saying all are wrong or rogues but failure to follow protocol especially by those who are even charged with teaching it makes me wonder. Ramos got hammered on the stand about doing things their way....

Take care and thanks. Maybe this hearing will bring some needed change both in the laws and the agency structure if needed.

From Word online Help:

Convert a PDF file into the Word file format

If you are working on a file in PDF format and you want to edit the file in Word, you can convert it to a Word document. Many third-party providers listed on the Microsoft Office Marketplace Web site provide converters that do this. Check the listings for providers that offer PDF-to-Word conversion.

Yea, I got the impression the whole office there was a bit lax in following official policies, and that the supervisors were trying to cover their rear ends on that account.
