To not give the troops at least until September to show results of “the surge” would be an outrage. The dammed dems were gleefully declaring defeat nearly a month ago. Where in the hell are the people in DC who are supposed to be defending the mission of the troops?!?!
It’s as if all of the people who should be advocating the right thing are asleep at the wheel, and the dems, along with the media are controlling 100% of the message and the agenda. Even the White House, as usual, seem to be caught back on their heals right now.

Well it looks like they have to declare defeat quickly before the victory of the surge is obvious to all.
When you have the NYT running upbeat (for them) pieces look out.
The dems are deathly afraid the George Bush can make a success of of Iraq and the are doing their best to deny him that success. Next summer is the conventions, so it nothing the Democrats want more than failure so that they can gloat about Bush and Republican failures, as that is about tho only issue they can run up the flag pole..
