Ben Smith of Politico.com reports that the first attack on a new book on Hillary Clinton came from Media Matters for America, "a Democratic-leaning group whose founders are close to the New York Democrat senator's presidential campaign..." Bingo. It looks like the media may finally be coming to grips with how the Clinton machine operates. The Media Matters attack on a reporter for daring to co-author a book that is somewhat critical of the New York senator is provoking interest in the group's ties to the Democratic presidential frontrunner. But there is far more to the story.
.......................
The book about Hillary, Her Way, is by Jeff Gerth and Don Van Natta Jr. Based on published reports, the book alleges that Bill and Hillary forged "a secret pact of ambition" to get to the White House. It raises questions about whether their marriage is a sham and why Mrs. Clinton tolerated Bill Clinton's numerous extramarital affairs.
...Mrs. Clinton is an advocate of the gay rights cause and she has been pressured in the past to accomodate the increasingly radical demands of the gay rights movement. It is not illegitimate to examine why this is the case because politics alone may not be a sufficient explanation.
While Media Matters, which is run by a homosexual, would prefer that questions not be asked, let alone answered, the Senator's unusual relationship with her husband, the former president, cries out for scrutiny. Her alleged lesbianism may just be a rumor or a smear, as claimed by Darrell M. West of Brown University, who has studied the controversy, but it will not go away as long as questions persist about Bill Clinton's seemingly unqenchable desire for women other than his wife.

Great to see Hillary’s lapdog, Mzzzz Brock, getting sharper scrutiny fron the so-called Mainstream Media. Brock is a such a phony and the completely lacking in integrity and credibility. In fact, in future dictionaries, a picture of him will appear next the definition of “slutty,” “nutty,” “liar,” “phony,” and “fraud.”

From what I can see, “Accuracy in Academia” has been around since 1985. My guess is that they were an arm of AIM since their inception. You can still get excellent articles at AIM’s web site, aim.org .
AIM is not marginalized through any flaw of their own. Any organization whose function is to criticize media will not gain traction in the media they criticize. That seems logical to me.
Count Rupert Murdoch and Fox in that group.
If we had a fair criminal justice system in the US, both would be in prison now, and we would hardly notice them!
Yes. Rupert Murdoch was constantly attacked and obstructed by clinton while he was president. Fox news was kept out of New York, for instance, and the regulatory agencies blocked Murdoch’s purchase of a satellite system to distribute his programs.
As a result, Murdoch supported Gore. He spent a couple of million hosting the Democrat convention in New York. And he sided with Gore, right up until November 3, when he finally threw his support to Bush, judging that Bush was now the winner.
Murdoch will predictably do the same thing in 2008, because if Hillary wins she will severely punish her enemies, while if a Republican wins he will try to make nice with everyone.
Thanks devolve, I missed this post earlier!
Mainstream continues to give her a pass. If she’s elected, it won’t be the people who elected her. It will be the media.
