So, we are supposed to go on what type of job is popular these days. How about we apply your test to Thompson. To my knowledge he has been a Lawyer, Lobbyist, Senator, and Actor. My guess is that most conservatives don’t exactly hold those professions in high esteem either. However, its not the job that either Hunter or Thompson has had that counts its their personal integrity. I have seen nothing to suggest that either of them are anything other than men of the highest integrity. So, your argument about Rep. Hunter being a career politician is simply a red herring. Once again, some of the most respected men in American history were “career politicians.”

Nice attempt at twisting the conversation. It has nothing to do with job type. It has to do with spending a lifetime on the tax-payers dime.

The Clinton’s never earned an honest dollar in their lives. They are multi-millionaires today and all of it came at great tax-payer expense. Take away politics and they are nothing at all.

Stick to the real discussion. Career politics is BAD.

Not ever career politician is evil, most are. But politics should never be a career. It’s NOT in our best interest.

Conservatives know this...
