The fact that that seems to be the biggest selling point for Thompson speaks volumes about possible lackluster conservative credentials.

Maybe Thompson will prove in the campaign to be the best choice, but I'm not comfortable about the way mere speculation about electability is supposed to close a serious examination of the issues among all the candidates.

That kind of analysis is fine for lets say a student council election where the stakes aren’t nearly as deadly.

Wining is all that counts here. Someone such as Duncan who hides himself to such a degree he wont even appear as a guest on conservative talk shows is a sure loser in a national contest.
