Don't mistake me. I think Thompson is highly qualified man and I think this is typical of what I would expect.

I also think Duncan Hunter is a highly qualified man and I expect the same types of hit pieces on him.

Duncan Hunter has a military record. It is important to me - thats all.

It’s important to me as well. I think Hunter is an outstanding candidate, and will make an outstanding president. I’d like to see him as the Republican nominee, but I would also be thrilled if we were to see a Thompson/Hunter ticket this time around. Then, in four or eight years, Hunter can run again and blast through the competition for another eight years.
