IMO she was just being a ‘good’ muslim...only allah’s laws (sharia) have any meaning, to take part in infidel court proceedings is haram (unclean) her imam would have warned her not to take part.
Islam doesn’t belong in Western culture. Muslims on jury duty is a ridiculous (and potentially dangerous) concept.
It would be funny if it wasn’t so very sad.
A judge recently won the right to force a muslim to take off her hijab.
