You still did not address the issue and obviously cannot.
Further you have not presented peer reviewed evidence to support your claims. Even that is doubtful because this is a PC issue as well as a medical one.
Finally I care more about my children’s health than I do this kid’s feelings or your unsubstantiated “facts”.
HIV cannot stay alive in a chlorinated environment. You should crack open a 9th grade biology book and read about that issue.
All you need to do now is show me any evidence whatsoever that shows that HIV can stay alive in a swimming pool or that HIV has ever been transmitted in a pool.
I see you are new at this so I will give you one last break.
YOU asserted that HIV cannot survive in a pool so the burden is upon you to prove it.
Let me give you a simple example.
LEO comes to my home and arrests me for murder. Hmmmm...., am I supposed to search the Internet for proof of my innocence or is it up to them to make the case against me? A case beyond a reasonable doubt.
The crux of my arguement was that it is not unreasonable to ask the guardians of a sick child for a doctor’s note to ensure the safety of the other patrons. Doing so is not a violation of the American’s with Disabilities Act. The guardians of this child have a very weak case for a lawsuit based on the information provided in the article.
The sign on the door of my health club’s sauna excludes people with HIV/AIDS and “other” communicable diseases.
You missed the point, which was not technical at all. It was to shed light on the possible motivation of the owner: he did no have to believe the person was contagious; rather, he might have treated this case as the possibility to be sued for knowingly endangering the guests. An average person is likely to know about that rather than the act you mention.
Technicalities are trees, but there is also a forest, you know...
Q. Since when HIV is a disability? Do your really think that a person with tuberculosis has a right of entry everywhere under that act?
