This article is brutally snipped, but it is worth the click for the whole sordid thing.
My fave part:
Ellison's noontime speech before Atheists for Human Rights, a Minneapolis-based group, drew the largest gathering in recent memory for the organization, said Marie Castle, the group's spokeswoman. "We're trying to upgrade the image of atheists," Castle said of the 350-member group. "They don't think we have a moral compass."
Hey, but the great idea of hanging out with Ellison is really gonna help that... not.

I just saw that this had already been posted... by searching "Ellison's", instead of just "Ellison". Is there any way to have the standard front page search engine pick up partials? (I've had this trouble before...)

Leftists who claim to be atheists give atheists a bad name. Leftists are essentially communists, which means that they worship Marx, which means that they are not atheists. You cannot believe the things that leftists believe and claim to be free of faith-based reasoning. As an employer of mine used to like to say when an engineer came up with a really stupid explanation of something: “Compared to that, believing in God is nothing”.

And another thing (target-rich environment, missed a few...): Anyone who claims to be an atheist is a fool to hang out with Muslims. While acquiring power, Muslims like to use atheists as scapegoats so as to prove that they (the Muslims) are “just like” Christians and Jews. Once they have power, Muslims are more likely to slaughter atheists than members of recognized religions (no hostage value).

Minnesota: Wasn’t that the State that sent a Congressman to Washington who took his oath of office on the Koran?

The fact is that I'm not saying [Sept. 11] was a [U.S.] plan, or anything like that because, you know, that's how they put you in the nut-ball box -- dismiss you."Okay, you convinced me. You are a nut-ball.

I didn’t know muslims had the warm fuzzies for atheists.
They sure hated the “godless” Russians during the Russian war in Afghanistan.
I suspect some junior muslim congressman is pandering to atheists and lying about his core beliefs, in true islamic fashion

On comparing Sept. 11 to the burning of the Reichstag building in Nazi Germany: "It's almost like the Reichstag fire, kind of reminds me of that. After the Reichstag was burned, they blamed the Communists for it and it put the leader of that country [Hitler] in a position where he could basically have authority to do whatever he wanted. The fact is that I'm not saying [Sept. 11] was a [U.S.] plan, or anything like that"
Soooo, what exactly are you saying, congressman???

This is what they call the enemy within, we are not only fighting these dispicable subhumans abroad we are fighting them here in America. It is time we elect a leader and leaders in the senate and congress who will deal harshly with the haters of America! Either your with us or your against us! They choose the latter we choose to throw them the hell out of our country!
