When Deval Patrick (now Massachusetts governor) was the chief Affirmative Action enforcer under Bill Clinton, his general area of interest was making sure minorities had "access" to mortgages. This is circular argument you can't win, not providing "access" to mortgages is discriminatory, now foreclosing on minorities is discriminatory.
