Why on earth would American parents want their children fluent in "the language of the car wash"?...unless they want them to manage/own one when they reach adulthood?(Sarc)

If my children were to be multi-lingual it should be in the language of another first-world country....education is supposed to advance one...not retard them...

Because, if things don’t change soon, Spanish will the dominant language spoken in the good ol’ US of A. Don’t you want your kids able to speak the commerce language of America?
