Pretty accurate.
Not too often, you see truths stated quite that simply.
This is an aspect of the Holocause that had never occured to me. It’s amazing that we continue to suffer the aftereffects of that evil.
This article deserves to be published in every publication in Europe.
How very true....
How did a Rodriguez kill any jews? What’s this we stuff, now all of us are responsible for what German’s did?
TOTAL understatement when you peruse the field of science and math in particular! Not complaining, just a fact.........:>)
He’s identifying himself as a European.
Not a Latino, or a German.
IMHO, that’s what we should be doing more of in America.
Instead, we do the exact opposite. Everyone has a hyphen. We define ourselves into ever-smaller, ever more isolated special groups, at cross-purposes with one another.
I sense your disdain for this “we” generalisation, however I think the author tries to take the (Western/Middle) European passivity and collaboration into account.
How did a Rodriguez kill any jews? Whats this we stuff, now all of us are responsible for what Germans did?Europe, dude. He was speaking for Europe.
Yep! The author oughta see what guilt over some ridiculous modern invention called "RACISM" is doing to this country.
Sorry - the Holocaust is the antithesis of Communist Genocide of the 20’s and 30’s - about 15 million forgotten souls.
Its Marxist/Relativism that has destroyed Europe and made Muslim atrocity PC
He is speaking collectively, not personally. It is food for thought on a moral level.
Look at it this way and maybe it’s a better fit: If we hadn’t started killing 60 million Americans (our own babies) in the womb a few years ago we wouldn’t be having a worker shortage (in my own state of Oregon the best estimate is 22% of the baby-boomers will retire in the next 10 years) or a social security crunch where three workers used to support one and soon one worker will have to support two.
happydogx2
Who cares? Why does it matter?
*because everything matters*
Don’t really buy into the “chosen people” nonsense, but the author brings up some excellent points. America is headed in that direction with anti-semitism becoming the norm and academia increasingly sympathetic to terrorists.
When our immigration laws exclude European doctors, engineers, and most other professions, but opens the doors to third world ignorants, we are indeed killing the essence of America.
We, The People are being slowly forced into getting directly involved with saving our Country from ignorant, third world criminals.
If the people we have designated to do this can not, or will not, then we are the ones who must.
Keep your powder dry!
Other than the fact that Spain served as a haven for thousands of refugees from Nazi-occupied Europe, what does Barcelona have to do with Auschwitz?
If you’re a reader (one who likes to read), you should read The Cube and the Cathedral.
The thesis (which i agree with) is that Europe lost its will to live with the shock of the Great War (WW-I), that war and the events following it have destroyed the soul of Europeans and all the problems in Europe now (depopulation, Islamization) are the result of that.
very profound.
Muslims: Move in. Take over.
It's not unlike saying we whipped Hitler's ass, or we declared independence from Great Britain, or we won the World Series, etc. Also, some people use a collective we for the human race in general. Rodriguez was merely referring to a European we.
