Robert sent an email to me today. He’s doing fine, but didn’t have much energy to say much more than that. I sent him some pics of his niece and nephew and other family members, and my wife will be mailing him a package on Monday. He continues to demonstrated his conviction that what he and his fellow soldiers are doing is the right thing, and that our nation must stay the course through to victory. I find it sad that a 20 year old recognizes this fact but that our elected representatives do not.
I’m glad you heard from him! He should have recently rec’d a package sent from us, as should your niece and nephew! :-) They are definitely wise beyond their years.
