Excellent points.
I don’t see much of a difference between the “Blame ‘Bush” group here on FR and the “Blame Bush” group I see/read/hear on the liberal media.
I also wasn’t aware that many have left FR. I just think if the seasoned citizens of FR don’t want anyone new to post, they should just request that registration be closed to keep FR “pure”.
Don’t let anyone intimidate you. We have several DU posters here. That’s a fact.
Yes, there are far far fewer comments and posted stories here than there used to be.
And those "seasoned" posters you speak of. Well, there are not so many of them left actually. In the old days there was a lot more intelligent discussion. These Bush-hating, DU-like threads were absolutely non-existent, believe it or not.
Oh, there was dissension. Just not the constant Bush-hating mob mentality.
Illegal immigration is a longtime problem with many complexities and no easy quick fix.
No child left behind has begun to work and the teachers unions are screaming about the loss of funds they are facing in the failed schools.
Medicare is an expensive mess but it was a LBJ invention and the Democrats want even more government interference.
We must keep in mind as we are critical of Bush that he is far superior to any Democrat and that we are fighting the Democrats, the media, the labor unions, the wealthy “useful idiots”, and the outright subverters of our country in this battle. Where we strive to be truthful and principled they honor the lie as a tool to power. We play by the rules, they laugh at us for it and ignore the rules.
The biggest problem facing us now is the united front of the left and the Islamists attempting to destroy us. Many of those in this country, including the Democrat Party, the media, etc., are on the side of our enemies. With that in mind, Bush looks a lot better and deserves our support.
Your statement is pretty obnoxious.
Here, educate yourself.
