as opposed to Fred, who signed campaign finance reform and acted on the Law and Order set?
Oh, sure--that's his entire career. Thompson's already commented on the CRF-thing, and you Hunter nuts need to give up on the Thompson-was-an-actor routine. So was Reagan. [And before you start with that trash, no, I'm not comparing the two men. They were both actors, though.] PS-- It's not Hunter that I have a problem with. It's some of his supporters.

Ronald Reagan was the host of General Electric Theater from 1953 to 1962. How does that in any way tarnish Ronald Regan as you are implying Law and Order is a black mark against Fred? Lets say fred signed campaign finance reform. That is minor compared to those political hacks in the senate who tried to shove amnesty down our throats.
No candidate is a saint. Duncan got into a shady deal earmarking funds to some half-asss airplane company in his district and got campaign kickbacks.

"Now instead of casting our votes in fear..."Supporting and voting to Thompson is not motivated by fear; his brand of popular conservatism plays well coast-to-coast. And will cross party lines. A fact soon realized.
"..how about we work to bring such a world closer to reality."
From what i've read the other posters are attempting that with you. Politcal parties do not nominate members from the House for President. You're gonna need a Plan B. Soon.

...as opposed to Fred, who signed campaign finance reform...Hunter voted for the CFR follow-up.
Hunter is your candidate, you seriously didn't know that?

who signed campaign finance reform and acted on the Law and Order set? You conveniently ignore the 8 years in the Senate and the work he did within Washington too.
