She isn’t the only cynical player in this story. In the past, any mention of a religious practice in the NYT was accompanied by the verbal suggestion that the practitioner(s) were some kind of quaint oddballs who resided outside of the enlightened and benighted reach of their writers, readers and editors.
Now that the New York Times has found a champion in Hillary, they will find a little religion themselves. At least until after the next election.

Remember the recollection Hitlery had about her desire to join the Marine Corps?
Sad to say even some people I know who should know better say maybe Hillary is the way to go. They are just not impressed with the Republicans. I have said to them just wait until your free speech is restricted, when the federal government starts telling you what not to eat, and when a bureaucracy in DC tells you what doctor you can see, and when! Then don’t complain to me about how the ‘08 election turned out.
