Laz, I enjoy your humor, and I know you gotta be pretty sharp to be able to dream up those retorts, but why would you reject out of hand what Michael Yon has reported?
I agree, it could be that the Iraqi who was relating the story to the interpreter was full of crap, but if Michael Yon tells me a US officer identified by name related this to him, I believe him.
and the reports of millions of jews disappearing in germany was even harder to believe because no one could dispense of that many people without someone hearing about it...
though corraboration would be nice.

I've followed Yon for quite awhile. He's been pretty accurate and not one to hold back criticism of the administration at times. It should also be noted, he did not state the "boy-baking" actually occurred, but that Iraqis said it occurred.
