'Illegal' Crime
Townhall ^ | July 6, 2007 | Mike Gallagher

Posted on 07/06/2007 3:40:46 AM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

A funny thing happened to a pro-illegal immigrant activist this week in Dallas, Texas. The activist, a League of United Latin American Citizens representative named Jesse Diaz, was carjacked.

Obviously there’s nothing funny about someone sticking a gun in another person’s face and stealing his car. This isn’t funny as in hardy-har-har. And everyone is relieved that Mr. Diaz wasn’t hurt by the punk who threatened his life and stole his vehicle in broad daylight.

But the amusing part of this crime is what happened afterward.

It seems that Mr. Diaz is plenty steamed that it took the Dallas Police Department a long time to respond to his repeated 911 calls. He told the local NBC-TV affiliate in Dallas, “I always thought that the police would arrive a lot sooner than the 30 minutes it took them to arrive.”

Internal investigations, numerous press conferences, and the inevitable series of picketers and protesters are certain to follow. It will just be a matter of time before Mr. Diaz tries to convince the world that the Dallas Police Department doesn’t really care about a well-known Hispanic illegal immigrant advocate being robbed at gunpoint.

But his angst is misplaced. After all, the newly-elected mayor of Dallas, Tom Leppert, has promised to open a taxpayer-funded immigration office. According to the Dallas Morning News, this office would help immigrants – both legal and illegal – “assimilate” into the city and North Texas region.

Wow. An office funded by hard-working taxpayers which would teach illegals everything they need to know about assimilation, perhaps like obtaining free health care, snagging a job, or placing their children into Dallas-area public schools.

Maybe this will start a trend all over the country. Cities like Dallas and Los Angeles and New York could open up government offices that will help kidnappers “assimilate” into a nice, productive life. Child rapists could get counseling on where the maximum amount of kids congregates. Burglars could go downtown to the “Burglary Assimilation Office” and find out which homeowners are on their summer vacations.

And the illegal immigration insanity continues.

Before Mr. Diaz gets all worked up in demanding expensive investigations into why it took the police 23 minutes to arrive at his crime scene, I can offer a pretty simple explanation. You see, Dallas has emerged as one of the most dangerous cities in America. And the 800-pound gorilla in the room is the knowledge that much of this crime is being committed by illegal immigrants.

In fact, the brave men and women on the front lines of fighting crime are quite sensitive to the violence and bloodshed that can occur when patrolling the mean streets of Dallas and other major American cities.

On November 12, 2005, a Dallas Police officer named Brian Jackson was gunned down by an illegal named Juan Lizcano who worked as a gardener and had had too much to drink that night. More recently, on September 21, 2006, a Houston cop named Rodney Johnson was killed by another illegal named Juan, a slug named Juan Quintero who had been deported in 1999 for child molestation but managed to sneak back into the United States where he executed Officer Johnson during a traffic stop.

So I think it’s entirely possible that the reason the Dallas Police Department took a bit of time to respond to Jesse Diaz’s 911 calls is that their officers probably had their hands full that day.

And while Latino activists encourage people to break the law in order to get what they want, residency in America, brave men and women of law enforcement are risking their lives – and sometimes, giving them – because we can’t seem to figure out a way to stand up and scream to the highest mountaintops, “WHAT IS IT ABOUT BEING ILLEGAL THAT YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND?”

Many pro-illegal activists like to blame the government and the local police for any effort to arrest and deport illegal immigrants. They like to call cops “racists” and “anti-Hispanic” for trying to enforce the laws of the land and stay alive while doing so.

So I find it deliciously ironic that one of those activists turned to those same police officers when he found himself in trouble.

And despite Mr. Diaz placing four 911 calls to the Dallas Police, they just didn’t arrive quickly enough to suit him, probably because they were off dealing with crime that quite possibly was being committed by illegal immigrants.

Now that’s funny.

We have to find a way to get back at those “sanctuary” cities and towns.
My idea: No Gov’t checks AT ALL to those zip codes. All payments to be cancelled and no new payments resume until the policy changes.
Only the Feds (and nobody else) enforcing immigration laws as policy is foolish.

People are getting fed up with this crap.

KEEP CALLING YOUR RESPRESETATIVES TO END THIS ILLEGAL NIGHTMARE!

If they don’t VOTE THEM OUT OF OFFICE and put someone in that is LAW ABIDING and sees no reason for “reforming” laws to cater to ILLEGALS.

Everyone from the lowliest dogcatcher, beat cop or deputy sheriff on up to the FBI, ICE, and Coast Guard need to be enforcing our nation’s immigration laws. We should enlist utility company personnel, apt. landlords, UPS & FedEx delivery drivers and so on by paying them a bounty for any verified illegals they turn in.

Good points. My only additional suggestion is that the locals should hold the illegals in custody until the Feds show up to pick them up for deportation. Given the current staffing of the INS and the number of illegals on hand I estimate that the average illegal will be held locally for nine hundred and twenty seven point three years or his death of old age, whichever comes first.

After a few hundred horror stories of primitive local jail conditions in overcrowded holding cells the word will get back to Old Mexico that the cactus isn't always greener on the other side of the Rio Grande.

There are some good ideas on this thread. Good ideas.

Bubbling up in the form of citizens activism from the grassroots.

It is really the only way we are going to solve this problem nationwide, village by village, hamlet by hamlet, city to county to state. Since the Feds won't do anything, and also, because they lost their Bush-Kennedy Amnesty Piece o' Crap Legislation, they will be even more lethargic in enforcing the CURRENT LAWS as a retaliation against the grassroots. Start voting out pro-illegal local and state officials. Vote in pro-law candidates, and also fortify the ones in there who have the courage to be on our side. Get'em on record in the local elections. Make it a local issue. We have more power over placing into authority people who are closer to us. This is where we can REALLY make a difference, on the local level, in addition to continuing to hammer D.C. on this issue.

Let's see if I can write up the activist viewpoint of this article...

Mike Gallagher Shows His True Stripes

Commentator Mike Gallagher has exposed himself for the racist he is, comparing hard working immigrants, simply seeking the American dream to pedophiles and kidnappers. In his never ending racist columns, he continues to show what lengths the xenophobics will go to to push their agenda in keeping the American dream for people like himself.

While his continued diatribe focuses mostly on Hispanic peoples, showing where his animosity is most greatly centered, he of course doesn't mention White people who are also within this great nation, simply missing the essential permits that would make their lives easier.

Help us fight these racists, and reopen the American dream for the nation of immigrants, by donating to our organization, the National Center for La Raza, as we go toe to toe against these hate mongers.

Damn, these things are so easy to write, no wonder they pull this crud. It's not even like working... As for the point that Mike makes, it is the duty of every American to hold their elected officials accountable for the money they take from us. Outcry over Amnesty is absolutely essential, but outcry over every program designed to make it easier for illegals to continue to commit their crimes is something else that deserves attention.

This foreigner, Mr. Di, advocates lawlessness. It’s ironic that he screams for the police when a crime is committed against himself.

He should understand that the carjacker was only trying to better his condition in life. The carjacker has a right to adequate transportation. He might have needed the car to get his family to the welfare office or to the hospital to receive free medical care.

It’s hard not to conclude that Mr. Diez is a racist and a bigot..

Or they could use Sheriff Joe Arpaio's concept tent camps and pink jumpsuits, bologna sandwiches, etc. by the border, where the illegals would work 12 hour days building the WALL!

More Americans killed by illegal aliens than Iraq war, study says

When you start digging into the numbers the only ones that can be sourced with the feds are the number of American murdered in 2005: 16692
I have seen federal numbers for illegals held in jail ranging from 19.3% to 27% of the federal prison population.

Here's a sampling of USA cities wanted for murder. What you'll see is that in big USA cities like LA or NYC most of the murderers are Hispanic. Unknown are the % of illegals. In smaller cities the FBI will post the nationalities of the murderers. About 25% of the most wanted are illegals wanted for murder. This number agrees with the percentage of illegals incarcerated in federal prisons. +-25%

Pictures of top 10 most wanted in LA. Up until recent stories about crime in LA posted by the LA Times--the pictures included the nationality of the murderers. They were all foreign nationals and mostly Mexican.

Wanted for Murder in New York City.

Chicago wanted for Murder

Philadelphia wanted for murder

San Francisco wanted for Murder

New Orleans wanted for Murder

Pictures of suspects wanted for murder in Washington DC

FBI USA 10 most wanted. (two of 10 are Mexican nationals)

There are currently no exact numbers on the number of Americans killed by illegals. Part of the reason is that the government deliberately obscures the number. I talked on the phone with the head of statistics for the US Bureau of Prisons. He said his office wasn't allowed to publish the number of illegal alien murderers. Rather they were forced to put legal and non legal residents in the same category. I talked to ICE. They put out detailed numbers on illegal child molestors. However, they put out nothing on illegal murderers.

Part of the reason for the silence on the matter is that there is evidence to suggest that most Americans being killed by illegals are black--as is the suggestion in this LA Times Article.

All that said, it could be argued that if you include the number of illegals in state and local prisons the number of illegals in jail shrinks to 6% of the total prison population. Never the less if you multiply 16692 (the number of americans murdered in 2005) * .06 (illegal alien percent of total prison population) * 4 (the number of years the US has been in Iraq). The result is that more americans (4006) have been killed by illegals than have been killed in the Iraq war.

This point needs to be hammered home. Just as the liberals have hammered home the point about americans killed in Iraq.

To look at other USA cities go here http://stlouis.fbi.gov/ and replace stlouis with the city you want.
