You have to wonder what reality this fellow inhabits. Zawahiri came out today and said that Iraq is the central front in the war against Al Qaeda. And yet freedomdefender wants to abandon that front because the war is taking too long. Apparently, he would like the war to end sooner with us suffering more casualties because that is what happened in ‘good’ wars like WII and the Civil War.
Some of those who want us to pull out never thought Iraq was a threat in the first place.
They are devoid of all knowledge and reason.
They are more interested in economy, and state politics.
This enemy is like no other we have ever fought.
If we pulled out two yrs. ago or next week, the IslamOFascist are still coming after us, be it
Calif. London, etc.
And for those who think only about 401Ks and the economy,

It wouldn't be so bad if it was just him that's hurting himself, but there are other local electeds that will be hurt when Doolittle shoots himself in the Republican circular firing squad! I have never seen a Party self-destruct so fast and so efficiently at all levels!
It's incredible... and the end of an era!!! But now both Harry Reid and John Doolittle have surrendered to the war on terror. Will that other Mormon running for President be the next to follow suit??? Isn't it about time for that other Mormon Senator whose name escapes me to say something equally as regretable and stupid??? I think this whole thread is coming from the irrational exeuberance of the Ron Paul crowd! They, along with Doolittle think the war is lost because the President jumped off the cliff on immigration.
There is no doubt the President hurt his own credibility with that, but the transferrence to the war issue is not one we conservatives should "knee-jerk" toward in wildly lurching lunges of fickle fanaticism!!!
If we screw this up by cutting and running, you better get ready for extreme economic damage that our grand and great grand parents experience in the great depression. I already see some careless comments that the economic risks are supposedly not important and that is false on it's face!!!
I believe Doolittle is pist because of the President not calling off his "dogs" in the Justice Dept!!! In a way, I can kind of understand his bitterness. I was disgusted with Doolittle once upon a time because he didn't do near enough to help my re-election bid... Nor did his prodigy Rico Oller who got beat by Dubious Dan Lundgren now in CONgress!!!
