These guys needed gun control ie hitting their target! spray and pray don't get it. Remember "Dead men tell no lies" If they had hit their target, we wouldn't be having this discussion. They need to be pardoned NOW !!!

Shooting unarmed suspects and filing false reports aren't in the job descriptions of any law enforcement agency I'm aware of.If you don't think these guys were railroaded then I'd suggest you read the first 15 pages of this portion of the transcript.
Davila was given a UNIQUE immunity deal which effectively cut off the defendants from properly questioning his credibility.
Davila was the only witness who could have testified that he did not have a gun and was not pointing it at the officers at the time he was shot. The defendants were precluded from properly and fairly being given a chance to destroy his worthless credibility.
Your conclusion that he was unarmed is based solely upon the testimony of a serial drug smuggler, who was noted to always be armed when carrying drug shipments.
But you'd rather believe the testimony of a lying serial drug smuggler than Border patrol agents who had never before been accused of any official wrongdoing.
The transcripts are there for the reading. It is the "off the record" conversations which are most telling in this case. Those conversations show how the defendants were denied an opportunity to put on a proper defense.

Yes, I always liked Herb Alpert and A Taste of Honey. You will have to explain the ‘separation’ bit another time.

Shooting illegal invaders carrying drugs isn’t lawlessness.

President Hunter must pardon these men on Jan 21, 2001.

Duncan Hunter is a good man, but why he has chosen to involve himself in this is beyond me. I heard the prosecutor on Sean Hannity. These guys not only lied once, but also twice. They made it virtually impossible that the Mexican drug runner would ever be convicted of anything. I think we need to protect the border, but this has nothing to do with this case.
Let’s disagree, but let’s not be disagreeable. I respect your opinion on this, but I don’t agree that these guys should be pardoned.

You are listening to the PROSECUTOR’s side of the story. Equivalent to listening to Nifongs side of the story and not paying ANY attention to the malfeasance that many, many of other’s have dug up on his prosecution.

I'll let those that know more than me argue for me on this one.
Below are links to all 18 Volumes of the trial transcripts. That is the basis of the findings as presented in court to a jury of citizens from the area Ramos and Compean lived and worked in and not what some other non participants claim from their keyboards or microphones.

I read the transcript. There was a BP officer present who testified Davila was not armed. He was present and saw the whole incident.
I have limited knowledge of the accused BP’s testimony but from all accounts, they did not follow proper procedures after the shooting.

I read the transcript. There was a BP officer present who testified Davila was not armed. He was present and saw the whole incident.I believe that he would have said that he didn't see a gun. If he said that Davila was not armed, then he was a liar, since nobody drives a half million dollars worth of drugs across the border, unless they have the means to keep it from being hijacked.
I have limited knowledge of the accused BPs testimony but from all accounts, they did not follow proper procedures after the shooting.
To be honest, I would be surprised if they ever followed "proper procedures." These are Government employees.

I called the White House today and told the White House Comment Line operator I strongly urge the president to pardon Ramos and Compean, that the despicable U.S. Attorney Johnny Sutton immunized a drug dealer to imprison Border Patrol agents doing their job, that the president was derelict in his duty by allowing the border to remain open for the invasion of illegals with their drugs and violent criminal behavior. It was the long version and I delivered civilly, unapologetically, with due heat and a thank you for your time today.
