Now wait a sec. If I don’t pay taxes because I disagree with everything Congress is doing I get my butt thrown in jail. How the hell is this legal?

Your motives for not paying taxes are completely irrelevant. The act itself is what will land you in prison. PERIOD. As so many of these “tax protestor” morons have found out.
