LAGUNA NIGUEL, Calif. (AP) - Al Gore's son was arrested early Wednesday on suspicion of possessing marijuana and prescription drugs after deputies pulled him over for speeding, authorities said. Al Gore III, 24, was driving a blue Toyota Prius about 100 mph on the San Diego Freeway when he was pulled over at about 2:15 a.m., Sheriff's Department spokesman Jim Amormino said.
The deputies said they smelled marijuana and searched the car, Amormino said. They found less than an ounce of marijuana along with Xanax, Valium, Vicodin and Adderall, which is used for attention deficit disorder, he said.
Al Gore III?? My God, you mean to tell me there is THREE of this things?
Well now he has the qualifications to be a Senator for an upper east coast state.
Those marijuana fumes are natural, unless tobacco exhalation which leads to global warming and the destruction of the planet.
That is really sad for the Gore family. It is so hurtful when your kids make poor choices. Been there.

I feel sorry for the Gores. It is hard to have a 24 year old who is in trouble, for there isn’t much that can be done by the parents at this point.
If Gore III wants to make something of himself, he is going to have to do it on his own.
For his sake, I hope they throw the book at him, and make him face some serious consequences. That is his best hope for a “turn-around” before he totally screws up his life.
I also hope the Gore parents are smart enough not to try to get him off.
If I were Al Gore’s kid, you bet I’d be messed up on drugs!
Wouldn’t put it past Hillary...except for the kid’s ongoing record of such things.
I think he was caught speeding to the airport once.
