Oh purdy!!
I’m here Q is up now on Speed. Have to have dinner first. Starving.
Mikey 48.83 we’ll see where he winds up.
“I think Brad Keselowski might drive it at Chicago and I’m talking to Brad about driving it all the way up to the race in Montreal,” Earnhardt Jr. said Friday at Daytona. “I’ve got a neat little thing I want to do at Montreal and Watkins Glen with a buddy of mine that I used to race Corvettes with, but I’ve got to take him testing first and make sure he’s got what it takes.”
Hmmm puzzle..
Still at work. :(
We were so busy today I didn’t have time for lunch. Now I feel better and the dog was hungry too. :)
Q: Tom, I read about the possibility of Kasey Kahne taking over for Jr. at DEI. What do you think? Scott Riggs has missed the last two races, and I really hope Kasey and Evernham Motorsports do more of a shake-up among the other team directors, after replacing Josh Browne. Evernham Motorsports seems to be really behind the 8 ball on the COT and 07 cars. Matthew from New Milford, Conn.
A: Welcome to FOX. Kasey Kahne is not going to DEI, period. I spoke with people from both camps and have been assured that Kasey wants to stay with Ray Evernham, who he feels a great degree of loyalty to. On top of that, my sources at DEI tell me Kahne has a bulletproof, long-term contract. Here’s what could happen, though. If Budweiser doesn’t wind up sponsoring Dale Earnhardt, Jr. at Hendrick Motorsports next season, the beer company could sponsor Kahne’s No. 9 Evernham Motorsports Dodge.
Red flag for rain.
Geez I need a pic of Jr’s helmet it’s really scary and wild. He said he told the guy who paints them to make it that way so everyone would think he’s bad. :)
RE: Kahne, Bud, DEI
See, that is how the rumor mill works. It started last week that if Bud could not get Junior, they wanted Kahne. That travels around for a while and suddenly this week it is Kahne wants to go to DEI.
Kasey is Evernham’s top driver, so Bud going to Evernham makes more sense than Kasey going to DEI.
Man, Kerry looks like the old man.
As the wheel turns. :)
Here is something interesting. Vickers is the slowest of the non-35. The track is only going to get faster. His only real chance of securing a spot is if qualifying rains out, because he won a race last year and that would put him in the field.
According to Jayski —
In the event that qualifying is cancelled:
the eight who would make it [8]: #’s 83, 44, 21, 10, 22, 15, 00, 78
missing the race would be [10]: #’s 36, 84, 55, 49, 37, 4, 60, 09, 04, 27
Yeah I think he’s out of luck, track almost dry. Boris ready to go out shortly. Rain has moved out.
He’s on the track, let me just say I would not want to be the first out after track drying.
Back to qual’ing!!
hey there, did you catch Jr’s pre-qual comments>
Hey NY.......PLEASE if you see that red white and blue uncle sam 1/2 skeleton helmet of Jr’s grab it. :)
The real Said Head!
