Please tell me which group of public employees can retire in their forties?

Presently, firemen, policemen (including college police officers), I believe, are the largest groups in the state who can retire after twenty years. If you’ve done 4 years in the military prior to joining, CalPERS will count this towards your retirement as well. Join the Army at 17, get out at 21, join the CHP, be retired with 90% salary just prior to your 40th birthday, assuming you don’t get early retirement for disabilities.

"

(Turning the general election into a second Democrat primary is not a winning strategy.)
