Hi tulip good to see you ! You are an official Dr.Tuliptree now?

Thanks for the cheerful post. I think they grow blue flowers like that now. At one time we used daisys & added blue food coloring & red food coloring to the water & cut a little off bottom of stems & put in water for a few hours & presto... the flowers attained the colors we wanted

was going to ping the list tomorrow with the prayer table if no JH2 ...but I noted he has an essay ready so quickly tried to add the list copy/paste & had a disaster with formatting, so just used what I had with the names I had added Monday. Hopefully for my next thread I will have it ready. You put a lot of work into it GeeBee

Hi Dolly! Yes, I’m an official “Dr.” now. I have a little piece of paper that says so, but I don’t feel any different. :-)

Once, I watched a PBS special about how companies specialize in certain kinds of flowers and can create new varieties with different colors and sizes. But it’s amazing how plants can change with a little food coloring. Sometimes, you can actually see the colors flow through them from the water.
