Online conservatives are what drives the issues and talk radio. Usually if Rush is talking about something, it's old news. Often I've read about the issues he's discussing several days before on Free Republic.

They get their news and the grassroots reaction here, then they talk about it the next day or so.

Rush just needs a fourth wife to hide his golf clubs. He's just having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have. Ann Coulter could make him pay attention. Or Laura Ingraham. Or both of them together :-)
