Mr. Hunter has absolutely no executive experience. To this point, he has only been a legislator. How has he been prepared to oversee an administration, which is a very different task than being a Congressman?
That’s a serious question?
Did Eisenhower have executive experience? I don’t know if he had run for any elected office after the war or not. His experience was limited to military experience, I seem to recall.
Gotta brush up on my history!
Reasonable question, Jude.
There’s nothing wrong with this question. Hunter will have to answer it and should, so will Hillary with her great experience of being married to a politician, Obama with his newbie status even on capital hill, so will Thompson who was a Senator. Some people are on the Legislative side, some on the executive side. Guilianni and Governors have to answer to a lack of Federal experience. VP’s have an office to their credit that “is not worth a bucket of warm spit.” Etc. Etc. Question is basically a different version of “Why would you be a good President?”
>Mr. Hunter has absolutely no executive experience. To this point he has only been a legislator.<
LOL! And Fred Thompson has? Rep. Hunter chaired the Armed Services Committee for four years, and is now the ranking member. He has served in Congress for over 26 years with a staff. Do you have any concept of what that job involves? And where do you get your information? I might say it is certainly not reliable, jude.
