Let us make a pact. Let us re-right the ship of the Republican Party. Money should follow the votes not votes follow the money. What I mean is this: Giuliani has no real chance of winning the primaries, other than a calculation on the part of practical wing of the party that he has the money to conduct a National campaign. If we play our cards correctly, it should be the Giuliani types that are chasing after the Duncan Hunters of the world for a seat at the power table, not the other way around. The immigration debate did us all a favor. The base still rocks the party. Our campaign to defeat amnesty did not cost me a dime.

Fred Thompson is proving that you can put serious numbers on the polling scoreboard with a modicum of expense. With out MSM support, without Chamber of Commerce support.

Do not disparage or discount a serious Conservative like Duncan or Tancredo in any way. The limousine liberal Republican will be begging us for a seat at the table. Stand fast. That's the question. Also, if we start denying what they're up to, we will end up with someone like Britain's new PM, he refuses to connect the name muslim with terrorists.
