I recall that as well and remember thinking to myself “These SOBs are obviously emboldened to the point where they can now come out and announce their intentions in public because — after decades of government school INDOCTRINATION — the public no longer gives a damn.”

And then a lot of people with chilly spines fled to Ross Perot which gave us Bill Clinton.

Dubya has stood up to the globalists on global warming, 2A, the WOT, and, especially, thank God, the courts. And never once did he fail to say in any election that guest workers were something he supported to address the problem with dealing with those who ignore our borders.

Now, I'm very glad that bill was killed but for the paranoid among us it was designed to address a problem Bush didn't create, and who has probably made things better.

Have we really forgotten how Slick pushed through citizenship for dubious immigrants to make them eligible to vote in certain elections?

And those 12-20 million illegals are still here.
