The Ladies Night of Terror
Bob Parks: Black & Right ^ | 7/3/07 | Bob Parks

I orginally wrote this as Friday's radio spot script, but I personally like it as a read, so here's both.
Last year, I got in trouble with YouTube for trying to air one of my television show segments that included the videotaped beheading of an American captured by Iraqi insurgents. That video was aired all around the Islamic world, yet was kept off our televisions because that was considered “inappropriate content”. They figured we just couldn’t handle the truth.

Earlier this week, I read a story in the UK Sun; a story that we have yet to hear in America. You see, last Thursday night, Friday morning’s terror bomb attempt in London was aimed at killing women.

The silver Mercedes was parked in front of a nightclub called “Tiger Tiger” and was supposed to go off around 2am as patrons were leaving and milling about. Last Thursday night was “Ladies Night.”

Should the car, full of gasoline canisters, have gone off, many out front would have been incinerated, and the blast would have caused significant damage to the club and those inside. As the injured made their way to what was left of the exits to the responding law enforcement and emergency medical personnel waiting outside, that was when the second car bomb was to detonate.

That car was full of nails and that blast was meant to finish off the injured, the initial blast survivors, and those who came to their aid.

So why, you may ask, would they target women? Because Islamofascists have no use for Western women.

Western women dress provocatively instead of the head-to-toe garb mandated under Sharia Law. Western women are educated, they drive, they have rights and run for public office. In the West, it’s illegal to beat and even kill a belligerent wife or daughter. Western women are thereby fair game.

So when you Code Pink or Women in Black babes protest the war and state that the terrorists mean us no harm and would leave us alone if not for George Bush, remember this: the Islamic fanatics have no respect, thus use for you. If it were up to them, you’d all be in birkas and should you speak out, it would be legal to stone you to death.

When Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the House of the United States, third in line to the American presidency, went on her unauthorized trip to Syria, she had to wear a headscarf in public. In that part of the world, she wasn’t just Madame Speaker. She was still just a woman.

When Democracy Now hostess Amy Goodman broadcast from the Qatar studios of al Jezeera, she couldn’t come on looking all scraggly. Instead of liberal chic, they had her all made up because a woman just can’t go on television there looking any old way.

And should Hillary Clinton become President of the United States, I’ll bet she’ll have to wear head covering when visiting a Muslim country. To us, she’ll be the most powerful person in the world. To them, she’ll be just a woman.

So ladies, you’re in this fight whether you like it or not. As far as Islamic terrorists go, every night is Ladies Night.

Please forgive me for even daring to challenge your intellect. You claim I use the same word “decadence”.

“Firstly, these statements do not contradict mine: your quotes use the same word, decadence.”

Now as the lowly author of the piece in question, I can’t find that word as I didn’t use it. The Sun piece that I linked to did.

But who am I to question YOU? Your original point was that I was sensationalizing to scare women. I quoted a UK source that said that was the purpose, thus the purpose of placing the bomb where it was, thus the time when it was to go off.

The Sun piece that I linked to did.

That is what I was commenting on, not your own words. I am sorry I forgot that I had followed the link. From this standpoint, I hope you'll understand my post better.

But who am I to question YOU?

I truly have no clue as to where this came from.

Your original point was that I was sensationalizing to scare women.

Ditto. Not only did I NOT say any such thing, I have no idea how you could even come to such a conclusion.

If I somehow hurt your feelings, I am sorry. It does appear, however, that our exchange got a rather bad start.

Top,
If you’ve ever seen comments I get from the tolerant, benevolent left, yours is cotton candy in comparison. No feelings hurt here.

So how should I have taken, “It’s too bad this guy misfires. Nothing is more difficult than imputing motives to people. These fascists may have been targeting western decadence, which they thought was represented by a night club; they might not have even known that it was Ladies Night.”
