Not to worry, the Democrats in northern Virginia will simply adore these new taxes.

Wow. It’s hard to think of a way to kick poor and middle class people in the teeth harder than a tax on car repair. Of all the things to tax.

And on and on and on it goes. We have gone from citizens to cash cows.

This what the VA voters get for putting the socialists in charge of their government.

Don’t know that we have anything like NVTA here in the Free State (I am smiling as I type. What a paradox of a nickname, if ever there was one!).

Despite the taxing body (NVTA), these are considered to be tax increases,...are they not? Or is this whole shell game simply a way for the legislature to get around saying that very same thing and pretending that the populace are too stupid to figure it out?

Here in Maryland, fees and services have been the way to increase state revenue, this was done under the Ehrlich administration, and while I dislike any kind of tax increase, I suppose that I prefer this. The rainyday fund was bolstered under Ehrlich. It had like 1.3 billion in the kitty untill about a month after the Dems took power.

Governor Lilmarty is going to really give it to us next year, and while I’m not thrilled, I hope this will open the door to a new administration and hopefully some changes in the political landscape on this side of the Potomac.

I’ll pass your note along to my friends in the Old Dominion, maybe if there was some kind of groundswell, they could crash the phone line!

If the annual personal property tax on cars hasn’t been reinstated to it’s 100% pre-Governor Gilmore level, Virginians deserve to get all of it back plus whatever your elected den of thieves in Richmond want to add to it. YOU ASK FOR THIS KIND OF ABUSE EVERY TIME YOU VOTE FOR A DEMOCRAT. TO COMPLAIN ABOUT IT NOW IS JUST PLAIN RUDE.

Are these taxes to be imposed on certain counties in Northern Virginia or will the whole state be taxed? I can’t imagine Virginians in the rest of the state rolling over and playing dead on this one.

You know you’re in the midst of tyranny when local, unelected municipalities and councils have the power to levy taxes.

Who shall protect us from this tyranny? If we don’t do it ourselves, it won’t get done.

Time for a Tea Party!!!!
