God Bless him. He has turned away from the wide gate and taken the narrow.

Wow! What a great inspiration and renewal of the Lord’s truth and how it truly does overcome evil. God can and does move mountains and this is a very good example of one time. I am so excited this man is sharing his story. Thank you for the post.

"Everyone I’ve known was a homosexual in denial...."

Funny, it,s always been the opposite for me; a heterosexual in denial.

He was a rising star in the "gay rights" movement, but Michael Glatze now declares not only has he given up activism – he's no longer a homosexual.

But, but homosexuality isn't a lifestyle, it's a God given part of nature I thought?

Good for him and his change via his sensibility.

I guess his mother can stop saying, "He just hasn't met the right girl yet."

LOL!

Funny, it,s always been the opposite for me; a heterosexual in denial.

I'll say this from what is now more experience than usual, I think there is a difference in what determines sexual orientation, between men and women. I actually DO think there are some men that are fairly hard-wired gay, maybe some women too. Having said that, I think that for many gays, it IS a "choice", or at least it was at some point. I think some are more suceptible to being able to become gay than others. I think that events in childhood can "turn" a person, I think the culture definately can influence people (look at all those "faux" lesbians these days).

This comes from many years of knowing and observing alot of gay people. Thats just my opinion, and since there is no hard evidence either way, that's what I am going with. Having said that, the homosexual lobby NEEDS for it to always be a hardwired thing, and in my opinion, they are simply wrong.

Finally, I think that even IF there is a physical, organic component to (some) homosexuality, that it should be considered a disorder, a birth defect, if you will, and instead of the culture glamorizing it, it should be looked upon like some horribly disfiguring disease, we should be sad that anyone ends up gay.

when I felt like, 'Why am I here, what am I doing?' – there was always a voice there.

Kudos to the voice....

He’s a very brave man. He’s going to receive very intense pressure to deny that he has changed. I wish him well.

Let’s not go too far in praising someone for having the “courage” to be normal.

We all have our sins that we struggle against. Well, we do if we have bothered to examine ourselves at all.

Nothing wrong with encouraging someone in their fight against their sinful nature. There's too little of that kind of thing going on these days.

From what I understand, Michael became involved with David Kupelian’s good friend and religous leader Roy Masters. Roy has written some definitive stuff about the subject. He is considered an enemy of the homosexual militants. Here is an excellent article: http://www.fhu.com/articles/gays_in_society.html
