Hands down, IMO, the playing of the race card is what has silenced so many Americans. Many folks I’ve talked to are ‘wispering’ to each other how they feel on this issue because they are afraid of being racist.

Or, they are being silenced. I went to the customer service desk at Lowes to complain about all of their signage, every bit of it has a Spanish translation. Two employees leaned across the counter to wisper to me that while they were in 100% agreement with me, Lowes prevents them from saying so.

One Hispanic leader, and I don’t recall his name, when asked why they play the race card, answered...because it works.

It cuts both ways. There are indeed liberals who throw down the charge of racism at the drop of the hat without any grounds whatsoever. However, anti-PC is just as PC as PC itself. Unfortunately too many conservatives have been so put off the by liberal charges of racism that they often refuse to admit the presence of real racism when the charge is just and right.
