I have a daughter who graduated from Georgetown. She received a decent education there as she was driven to learn. In fact she graduated with a 4.0 GPA, but for the most part it was NOT due to the excellent faculty they have.

You can get a good college education, despite the faculties (no pun intended). Leftist professors didn’t do anything to hurt me. They made me think. ‘Course, reading Wm. F. Buckley, Jr’s God and Man at Yale, along with a healthy dose of Goldwater Conservatism, helped prepare me.

This question came from an upper level US history course, on a final, no less:

“From Barry Goldwater’s run for the presidency we know that he was A. A fascist B. a Nazi C. A dangerous right-wing fanatic.”

I had been sitting quietly (for me) in the class all quarter, but this one tore it and I lost it. I stood and hollered “What the hell kind of f’in question is this...this is complete bulls—t!” I took a “B” for the class and was damned glad to get it.
