There are sufficient posts on this thread for you nattering nellies to learn that Libby and his lawyers DO NOT WANT a full pardon at this time as it would prevent them from filing an appeal in which Libby would have a chance to clear his name and not be branded a felon for the rest of his life and to bring out the real facts of the pseudo case - AND to bring out the lies of Mitchell, Russet etc - AND to expose Fitz for the Nifong he is. Heads may yet roll = and Libby's wont be one of them.
I can only conclude that those who yet - after all the times today's actions have been explained - bash Bush over this are either:
1: in a hurry and didn't take time to read the thread
2: will seize on any excuse, however untrue, to bash Bush
3: are DU sleepers

Your conclusion of #2 and #3 are on target IMO. I would add another, that third party supporters want the RATS to win in 2008 hoping they will benefit from the Republicans being out of power and the RATS going to such extremes that the voters will swarm to their new party. As if!
VP Cheney who was boss and friend of Libby has given millions to charity. Does anybody seriously think that he will not take care of any Libby financial shortfall? Libby does not need money but he does need to get his law license back and be free to vote. That can be done if he wins on appeal or is pardoned by Pres Bush.

Not at all, GWB was critical of Libby in his message. He implied that he thought Libby deserved some punishment. There is a heavy fine for being a fall guy and disbarment too. GWB gave some legitimacy to the Democrat charges against Libby.
