Re: 34, 48, 50

So you support the terrorists since they are the sword of God.

I support a people who will humble themselves, and pray, and seek God’s face, and turn from their wicked ways.
When you are resting on the rock of the LORD you don’t need to worry about ‘terrorists’, or other hobgoblins…

Your focus is misdirected. Man is inherently wicked. Sin gives birth to evil, disease, murders, strife, and death (Romans 6:23a The wages of sin is death). As we wallow in this mire, God will at times show HIS mercy and restrain these tribulations. But when sin’s natural ‘blowback’ occurs – and the result man’s evil blows up in our face – you want to shake your fist at God and blame HIM for the fruits of our sin.
And you take exception to those of us who will praise and thank God for HIS acts of mercy…
Seek the LORD and understand that HE is Good.
If we look honestly at ourselves we understand who we are – sinners – working hard for our wages of pain, misery, and death…
But I left out the 2nd part of verse 23 of Romans 6 – the most important part:

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Expect misery, disease, pain, and the appointment with death in this sin-cursed world, but we can take JOY in the fact that God, who alone is Good, has given us the most precious gift of all – eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.
