It only takes one of the tens of thousands of sighting of UFO's to be a REAL UFO to change the world.

Art has reported a UFO, that is, he doesn't know what it was and it was flying in the air. The world didn't change even though it was a real UFO. Also, he seems finally to have drunk the Roswell kool-aid.

I don’t understand,. I thought doing the show only on weekends was like retirement. So what is Art going to do sit around all day and fawn over his wife and daughter 24/7. Wonder how long that will last?

Isn’t this the 8th time. I thought he already retired.

Again? He’ll be back when he feels like it. I am glad George Noori is on board to provide consistency and reliability.

I don’t think Phil Hendrie will be a real competitor. He would draw a different type of audience.

I like Barbara Simpson, too, but I think she would grill the phony guests, and the station wouldn’t like that.

I don’t understand why Art seems to have abandoned his son.

I was listening live nine or ten years ago when he pulled his first “retirement” out of the blue. He loves the attention these “surprises” bring. He has done the same retirement a couple of times since then. I think alot of folks are tired of his drama.

Thanks for posting this, DJF. I hope Art Bell changes his mind about retiring.

In my simple and humble opinion, Art has lost his "interesting" factor.

But with that said, I hoped he would remain active in the biz as he seems to realize babies are a gift of God, not something to be disposed of when inconvenient.

He should seek treatment for his drug problem.

Of course Bell's retirement was years ago. That last time he really, really meant it. Though he fills in, tonight for example.

Before Mr. Bell went nuts with that "global warming" stuff he was one of my favorites through the 1990s. I started listening when he was doing his show from the Plaza hotel KDWN studios. I listened on KDWN.

He featured citizens demanding answers and real Congressional hearings on Ruby Ridge and Waco. He had FBI officials on along with critics.

He had Jayna Davis on frequently immediately following the OKC bombing. At the time Ms Davis was a reporter for OKC channel four.

He had a couple of interviews with Emily Lau Wai-hing at the time of Hong Kong being transferred to the Chi-Coms. Emily Lau Wai-hing was an elected government official and democratic activist who has since being singled-out by the Chi-Coms. I don't know why Art will not locate her and interview her again. She is a fascinating woman.

It wasn't all UFOs and stuff and still today CoastToCoastAM has lots of real science, politics, and general interest shows.
