It would seem hard to believe that people that went to the trouble of getting here legally would punish those who don’t want others cutting in line and breaking the law they honored to get here.
We shouldn’t forget that Cubans are here because of Castro and that Puerto Ricans are American citizens. They were made citizens by Congress in 1917. The United States took control of Puerto Rico in the Spanish-American War.
These groups need to understand they are not the illegal immigrants that people are angry about. I speak seriously
because some Puerto Ricans-Cubans are either confused by or could be confused by the debate going on and propaganda in favor of illegal immigration.
