Actually, I must disagree. This very poll showed that only 11% felt it was good for society. Other polls have also shown it’s a majority position to be against it. Americans are a lot more conservative on these issues than many people give them credit for being.
34% say it doesn't make a difference. 11% say it's good. That's 45% who give the concept a pass, in case your math skills are hurting.
