Security Breach at Pearson Airport
Josh Pringle
Monday, July 9, 2007

The Greater Toronto Airport Authority will meet with security officials in charge of pre-flight screening today following two security breaches.

An Air India flight was grounded Sunday evening because of a security breach at Toronto’s Pearson International Airport.

Peel Police say an elderly woman carried a pen knife through security to the boarding gate.

On Saturday night, 16-hundred passengers on eight international flights were delayed when a couple made it through security carrying six box cutters and a potato peeler in their carry-on luggage.
