Do you seriously think the voters need to see video of a Republican administration arresting and deporting Hispanics in the middle of the night?
No - but I think the voters would enjoy seeing the guys that hire these illegals get rounded up and put in jail!
“Do you seriously think the voters need to see video of a Republican administration arresting and deporting Hispanics in the middle of the night?”
After shouting “HELL YES,” it occurs to me to wonder why it would be done in the middle of the night?
I still like the dsc plan. Arrest them, and sentence them to community service: cleaning the roadside from wherever they’re arrested to the Mexican border, in leg irons, sleeping in tents, subsisting on bread and water, and guarded by men on horseback with shotguns.
Do that once or twice, and then be careful not to get trampled as the illegals race for home.
You mean like the picture here of the Democrat Clinton Administration taking a child at gunpoint?
Enforce the frick'n law! Or, get the hell out.
No, but it's not necessary. Impose fines on people who hire them, and the jobs will dry up. With no jobs, most will go home. The less moral ones will turn to gang activity or other criminal ventures to earn a living, and we'll deport them as we catch them committing crimes.
We'll never get them all, but so what? As Andy McCarthy said, illegal immigration is fundamentally a crime problem. No crime problem is ever "solved," and no crime is ever completely erradicated. Rather, crime is managed. We throw enough resources at law enforcement to keep crime down to tolerable levels. Same thing applies to illegal immigration. Throw enough resources at interior enforcement so that the number of employers willing to risk fines and/ or jail time becomes small. There will always be some scofflaws, and some illegals will be able to make a living through ciminal ventures, but not anywhere near enough to support a population of 12 million. As soon as employing illegals becomes unaccetably risky for respectable establishments like Wallmart or Tyson, most of that 12 million will have no place to go but back home.
It shouldn't be hard to get that 12 million number down to under a million through enforcement-induced attrition, and that's good enough for me.
Do you seriously think the voters need to see video of a Republican administration arresting and deporting Hispanics in the middle of the night.....................?
No, but I’ll bet they (including many Hispanic Americans) would LOVE to see illegal invaders being sent packing, day or night.
Don’t need to arrest Hispanics in the middle of the night, DC. Most of the work could be done quite easily and inexpensively by prosecuting the large employers of illegals, and applying the large fines in existing laws.
If there are fewer employers, there would be fewer illegals.
