Hmmm. I was just reading the "explanation letter" again, and I noticed something I failed to notice before. Page 3 contains this paragraph:
THEY WORE GLOVES WHEN HANDLING THE LETTERS AND ADDITIONALLY USED FURNITURE POLISH TO WIPE DOWN THE ENVELOPES AND STAMPS.
It says that the furniture polish was ONLY applied to the ENVELOPES AND STAMPS. They did NOT apply it to the letters.
I'll have to go back to my "comment" on my web site and revise things.

Okay, I changed everything. No problem. I wonder if there is something else I've missed. There probably is. I was still noticing new things in the anthrax letters THREE YEARS after I first read them.
