When I start seeing “Darwinists” (whatever they are) on their knees praying to some evolutionary deity then perhaps I will begin to take things seriously. Until then, as I said, it was just a cute turn of phrase—a quotable sound bite, if you will—from a fan of Darwin.

It suits creationists to claim that support for evolution is a religion, even when it is plainly nothing of the sort. If being a supporter or a fan means you belong to a religion, then what does that mean for all those Cubs and Yankees fans out there?

Here’s another one from a high priest of the Church of Darwin:

“In 2005 online magazine ‘Edge The World Question Centre’ posed the following question to a number of scientific intellectuals: ‘What do you believe is true even though you cannot prove it?’ Dawkins revealingly answered: ‘I believe that all life, all intelligence, all creativity and all ‘design’ anywhere in the universe, is the direct or indirect product of Darwinian natural selection.’”
